    GEP Closing Ceremony and Grand Finale Event

    A number of high-powered speakers gathered for the Global Entrepreneurship Program closing ceremony on January 12 at the Semiramis InterContinental Hotel. The event celebrated the close of a four-day visit by a delegation of 13 entrepreneurs from the United States, organized by the US State Department. Along with AmCham Egypt, Sawari Ventures and the American University in Cairo (AUC) were co-sponsors of the event. During their visit, the delegates met with 32 startups and selected two to win cash prizes of $20,000.
